STEF FAGAN - OWNER/OPERATOR/INSTRUCTOR

Hello everyone. My name is Stef Fagan. It has been a life-long dream of mine to open a dance studio to share my passion of dance with anyone and everyone. I have been trained in dance for 32 years beginning my dancing career at the young age of 3. My training includes Cecchetti ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, pointe, tumbling, and hip hop.

Throughout the years I have traveled nation wide to train with some amazing choreographers. That list includes but is not limited to Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Travis Wall, Ivan Koumaev, Joe Tremaine, Ian Carney, Laurie Johnson, Nick Drago, Marty Dew, Doug Caldwell, Nick Bass, and many others. My experiences with these choreographers created a new found excitement that I strongly desire to pass on to others interested in dance.

I have served as an instructor/choreographer at multiple dance studios in the Des Moines area. I also served as competition director at a Des Moines dance studio where I oversaw 112 competition dancers ages 3-18. The competition team won multiple awards for choreography and performances and traveled to Disneyland for an anniversary performance.

Whether dance is a career choice for you or a recreational outlet, Adair Dance Academy is the place for you. Please come see what we have to offer!

BRANDY HODGES - INSTRUCTOR

Hello Everyone! My name is Brandy Hodges and I am excited to introduce myself to you as one of the ADA instructors as of Fall of 2016. I grew up in north central Illinois, training at a dance studio in my home town since the age of 4. Here I trained in ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, and tumbling. I also competed several years in dance competitions in the Chicago area.  After college and moving to Iowa I taught dance in the Des Moines area and trained with Hank and Beth Adams from the Pointe Academy.

In 1999, a Des Moines based magician sought me out to travel the Midwest and perform in his illusion show. I was hooked and have been dancing in the show and jumping out of tricks ever since. I also provide the choreography for the show and assist in stage production. One of my favorite hobbies is continuing my own dance education. In 2010, I began training in both ballroom dancing and aerial artistry, including pole fitness which I continue to do on a regular basis yet today.

My love for dance just seems to grow the older I get! I am so excited to continue sharing my love for dance with current and future ADA students in years to come!

PEYTON FROEHLICH - INSTRUCTOR

Hello! My name is Peyton Froehlich and I am so very excited to continue to grow as an instructor at ADA and the social media personnel!

I am a graduate of ACGC High School and an ADA Alumni as well. I am a senior at the University of Iowa studying Communications and Entrepreneurship.

I have been dancing since the age of 5 and have been in love ever since. I have studied all genres of dance, including baton and tumbling. I have also taken several yoga, strength and ballroom dance courses. I began competing in the dance world at age 7 and have continued to do so ever since! I have competed with several genres of dance and have been a choreographer for competition pieces for 3+ years now. I enjoy the competition world, but the basis of our dance starts with hard-working students and great teachers to motivate dancers in a positive way. I look forward to radiating positivity into ADA for many years to come!
